Never have to stop again at a red traffic light. That will be enabled in future by the new Audi car-to-X application presented at the CES 2014 in Las Vegas. It connects the car with the central traffic control computer, which controls all the traffic lights in the city. Based on that information it shows the driver what speed needs to be selected to pass through the next traffic light through a green phase.
