Audi has revamped the e-tron GT sedan lineup for 2025, bumping up price and performance, both significantly. The MSRP now starts at $125,500 for the 2025 Audi S e-tron GT, which is up $107,995 from the base trim for 2024. In addition to the ’S’ in the name, the 2025 gets a total of 670 horsepower from its dual electric motors while using launch control. That’s up significantly from 522 horsepower for the 2024 e-tron GT, and even a healthy amount beyond the 2024 RS e-tron GT’s 637 horsepower. It’ll do 0-60 miles per hour in just 3.3 seconds, an improvement of 0.6 seconds

The performance upgrade for 2025 is the RS e-tron GT performance, with a shocking 912 available horsepower, slingshotting the car to 60 miles per hour in 2.4 seconds with launch control. This model also gets a push-to-pass button that unlocks the full power for 10 seconds at a time while driving. At an MSRP of $167,000 (up $18,405 over the 2024 RS e-tron GT), this is the most potent production Audi you can buy. If you’ve got enough runway, the RS e-tron GT performance has a top speed of 155 miles per hour.
In addition to the increase in output for 2025, the e-tron GT also gets improved battery capacity, at 105 kilowatt-hours (up from 93.4 in 2024). That’s good for 300 miles of range in the S, while the range for the RS performance has yet to be determined. Maximum charging speed has increased from 270 to 320 kW, thanks in part to a new battery-cooling plate, while 10- to 80-percent charging time is down to 18 minutes, from 21.5 in 2024. Audi also improved thermal management of the electric motors and interior air conditioning.

Improvements That Aid The Driving Dynamics

Audi

Audi has updated the e-tron GT’s air suspension from a 3-chamber/1-valve to a 2-chamber/2-valve setup, which it says improves driving dynamics. An available active air suspension offers further performance, actively managing body movements whether under hard cornering, braking, or acceleration. Opting for all-wheel steering also nets a tighter 14.3:1 steering ratio.
Further improving driving dynamics is the “RS performance mode” in the RS e-tron GT performance. Without giving away the entire magic trick, Audi says this is particularly helpful on curl tracks because, “Vertical wheel forces are optimized for dynamics in this mode, permitting drive torque to be optimally controlled at the handling limits.” This mode also governs torque-vectoring, wheel slip control, suspension tuning, aero, and cooling for peak performance. We can’t wait to try it out.

The 2025 e-Tron Is Refreshed On The Outside

Audi

Audi has given the e-tron GT new front and rear fascias, new wheels, and four new paint colors. There’s also an available glass roof with a liquid crystal film for transparency control. Audi is offering additional optional forged carbon elements to complement the matte darkened carbon roof on the RS e-tron GT performance. Audi says these pieces are not just stronger, but also that each piece is unique in its appearance. You can find this forged carbon on the bumper, rocker panels, diffuser, side mirrors, door sill inlays and dashboard. A Vanadium package, standard on the RS performance, replaces bright metal with darker trim throughout the interior.
The S e-tron GT will also offer the “Audi exclusive edition Quattro,” limited to 50 examples, for $146,400. It features Arabica Gray metallic paint, 21-inch 6-double-spoke wheels with a unique finish, Mint Gray and Mora Violet interior trim and accents, and unique badges. It also features color-coordinated speaker covers, switch covers, seatbelts, steering wheel, and floor mats.
Small-batch production of the 2025 Audi e-tron GT takes place at Audi’s Böllinger Höfe facility in Neckarsulm, Germany. It’s currently available for order in the U.S.
